About Me
In high school, I ran the projector at the local movie theater, starred in my school plays, and drew autobiographical comic books that are selling for $50 a copy online now! I sold my hip hop style zines at Tower Records and independent music stores across Atlanta. At Brown University, I double-majored in Visual Arts and Modern European History—because the history teachers told the best stories.
My career kicked off at an AI startup where I designed 3D avatars for virtual personalities using Poser, a program that felt like a Barbie Dream House for cartoons. My illustrations were published in an article about artificial intelligence in the international edition of Time magazine.
In 2006, I earned a graduate Certificate in Publishing and Communications at Harvard University, where I studied creative writing, acting, and media production. I even played a California guitarist rocking the ferryboat into hell at a student-produced campus comedy, channeling my inner Keanu Reeves.
After jobs as a graphic designer for Boston College and an animated video producer at a nonprofit, I headed west in 2008 to chase the California dream. In San Francisco, I worked on high-stakes legal trials as a litigation graphics specialist and won every case I worked on.
From there, I transitioned into corporate roles, collaborating with senior executives at Visa and Bare Minerals to craft visually stunning presentations and events. A career highlight? Producing an in-house interview with supermodel Christy Turlington.
In 2020, I pivoted to social media, creating a video campaign that launched a Visa executive’s speaking career with 30,000 social media engagements in five months. Since then, I’ve continued designing presentations, producing videos, and crafting social campaigns for brands like the University of San Francisco and Meta.
Today, I love working at the intersection of design, entertainment, and culture, collaborating with creative teams to tell stories that inspire and connect.
